Question about MOSS ss capture mechanism

Hi nohope
i was just wondering what is the difference between moss and the game recorders like fraps and bandicam etc in taking screenshots
we know that moss takes the ss randomly without the knowledge of player but why the other softwares works perfectly on each os xp,vista,7,8,8.1,10 while moss takes a black ss in some operation system like 8 and 10.. is there any difference in the mechanism of taking the capture from the game ?

by using directx 9 global surface while using a directx 11 private surface requires to hook directx like cheats does
