Hi, I am running a rainbow six siege tournament, and using moss as a mandatory soft for anti cheat measurement, so far, in terms of VPN we looked for “user time” beside the VPN software. if we find user time of VPN corresponding to the match duration, then we take it as VPN was enabled and we take action based on it. But a player bought out attention then if VPN is started first then moss is started later, then moss only shows 9 or 50sec as user time, even tho the player ran the VPN for more than 12 mins!
there is no bug but I’m not sure you read the result the correct way
2836 00:05:44:33 00:02:17 00:00:18 NVDisplay.Container.exe
process duration , which just means the time the process get started
kernel time , time the process used a processor core to handle system tasks ( disks , netowrk etc…)
user time , time the process used a processor core to handle it’s own tasks
and process name
I’m not sure what you expect from VPN process but right now there is nothing here to demonstrate a clear way a VPN has been used during the game session , the public IP is probably more accurate
