Crashed?

Hey,

one player said his moss crashed last night and didn’t save any screenshots but only a log file. From the logfile I’ve found out that his moss was only running for like 3 minutes. In the logfile you can see that moss created screenshots:

I would like to ask you if you could take a log at his file and tell me if it’s possible that no screenshots are saved and moss really crashed and didn’t get closed manually.

the player is lying on some points :
– moss didn’t crash , there wouldn’t be any log in zip in this case and the zip would have a warning saying it’s not finalized
– the jpg are stored in zip as soon they are captured , if there was a problem to capture or store the jpg you’d have a specific message

my conclusion is beside the session is pretty short , the jpgs have been removed from zip

Hello.

There are additional points to this case to be said.

1. The player has Win7 so his Screenshots would be black. He plays on windowed mode to get them working properly (previous matches).

2. We looked at his windows event logs where it says that MOSS stopped working because:
“The M0ss process has requested to disable Desktop Window Manager”

So there is basically logged event about the crash.

If moss stop to work there can’t be a log in zip
But yes windows 7 could explain bl as vks screens
